Schering-Plough police were caught up in an investigation into a scheme involving a Russian mob buying a pair of counterfeit Viagra and then sending it to the United States in a scheme to get them on the streets of the country. The police raided a house in Manhattan on Tuesday night and found four pairs of counterfeit Viagra pills at the house. One pair were seized and two counterfeiters have been found.
The FBI agents also found eight counterfeit Viagra pills in the home and the counterfeiters were sent to the United States by a Russian mob. The two counterfeiters were reportedly sent to New York and Miami. The investigation is continuing. A search of the home was made in which the two counterfeiters were found in the living room. It is believed the counterfeiters were sent to New York and Miami.
On Monday, April 21, 2018, police in Manhattan arrested the men on suspicion of laundering $4 million of the proceeds of the sale of fake drugs. Officers seized the drugs. Two of the counterfeiters have been arrested by the FBI.
